Warranty Policy

1. Warranty coverage

FODGETS LABS sells genuine products sourced from authorised distributors. Most brand-new devices carry the manufacturer's standard warranty, which varies by brand and product category:

• Laptops (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple, etc.): Typically 1-year international or local manufacturer warranty
• Smartphones and tablets: Typically 1-year manufacturer warranty
• Monitors and accessories: Varies by brand (3–12 months typical)
• Office equipment: Varies by manufacturer

The applicable warranty period for your specific product is stated on the product listing or in the product documentation.

2. What warranty covers

Manufacturer warranty typically covers:

• Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
• Hardware failures not caused by the user
• Dead pixels on displays (subject to manufacturer threshold policy)

3. What warranty does NOT cover

• Physical damage from drops, liquid spills, or misuse
• Damage caused by power surges or improper use
• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) that does not affect functionality
• Normal wear and tear (battery degradation, etc.)
• Devices opened, modified, or repaired by unauthorised technicians
• Software issues, viruses, or data loss

Important: Opening a device or having it repaired by anyone other than an authorised service centre will void the manufacturer warranty.

4. How to claim warranty

To initiate a warranty claim:

2. Provide your order reference and a description of the issue
3. We will assess whether the issue falls under warranty and advise on next steps
4. Products may need to be brought to our store or sent to an authorised service centre

5. Refurbished and used products

Refurbished or pre-owned products are sold as described and carry a limited 3-month warranty from FODGETS covering only hardware defects identified at time of sale. This is not a manufacturer warranty.
